As a multi-family and urban land specialist, Hunter Halten identifies and creates value for commercial investors and developers. While he pursues land assemblages and development opportunities throughout tri-county South Florida, the cities of Miami and Fort Lauderdale are his core marketplace.
Prior to investment sales, Hunter worked over 15 years in commercial real estate and development, with roles spanning project management, acquisitions, financial underwriting, and design.
From 2011 to 2019 he managed multi-family and hotel projects, with deals ranging from $20 million to $150 million in value. Over several years, Hunter directed the development of 2,000 multi-family units in South Florida and played a key role in the early growth of Resia (formerly AHS Residential), a vertically-integrated development, construction, and property management firm. He has since consulted for institutional and family office clients, working across all commercial asset types.
Hunter is an active parishioner at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Coral Gables. A language enthusiast, he is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Brazilian Portuguese. He lives in Miami with his wife Dayana, their son Wyatt, and their dogs Emmy and Archimedes.
Hunter holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Duke University, and a Master of Real Estate Development & Urbanism from the University of Miami.
