Moreno

Originally from Colombia, Nicolas brings over 13 years of experience in commercial real estate. He holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development and Urbanism (MRED+U) from the University of Miami, along with a degree in Agricultural Engineering.

Nicolas’ experience includes working in Retail Brokerage for well-known companies such as Colliers International in South America. In this role, he led and represented high-profile tenants and landlords in the relocation and positioning of various global presence retail brands and developers, including Louis Vuitton and the large-scale Dutch supermarket chain Makro (Steenkolen Handels-Vereeniging), as well as chain restaurants, beauty stores, gym spaces, dental clinics, and retail developers.

Additionally, Nicolas is the co-founder of a real estate investment fund in Colombia, with a dual aim: achieving social impact and maximizing profitability for the family fund.

Prior to joining commercial brokerage, Nicolas led land acquisition for the global-scale Oil & Gas company, Ecopetrol Company. He successfully negotiated rural, urban, and industrial land and properties for one of the major energy projects in Colombia back in 2010, including the Barrancabermeja’s Refinery Modernization Project (PMRB), demonstrating his expertise in handling high-stakes real estate transactions.

Nicolas’ first work experience in the United States involved serving as an in-house Real Estate Advisor for IT’SUGAR, the largest ‘retailtainer’ and trendy candy store in the US and Canada. In this role, he supported the expansion and lease portfolio management.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Nicolas possesses a passion for the arts, luxury brands, and design. His notable achievements span urban development and retail expansion.
