Frances
Pimentel

Frances is a seasoned international real estate sales, marketing, and project coordination professional focused mainly in the South Florida, Caribbean Islands, Mexico, and Costa Rica markets. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and International Business as well as an MBA with a focus on International Business from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. She obtained her South Florida real estate licensure in 2001. From this point onward she has worked in the real estate field holding both corporate positions in varying director and managerial level roles for multinational companies in several Caribbean islands and Miami, such as Grupo Marina D’Or, Maho Sonesta Hotels, and First Service Residential, as well as that of an independent contractor as a global investment sales advisor.

Frances has been featured as an international realtor selling properties in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in HGTV’s popular show House Hunters International. She completed the Certified International Property Specialist 2010, Transnational Referral (2006), and Resort and Second Home Markets (2011) designations coursework from the National Association of Realtors. In addition, she holds a Project Management for Development (2019) course certificate from the Inter-American Development Bank. Her past and current roles include working with local and international architectural and engineering teams as marketing and sales director and project liaison/developer representative to determine best unit mixes and designs for real estate developments in several countries, procurement of vendors, relationships with ministries and government officials for permitting of projects, as well marketing, branding, and sales strategies for such. In addition, she specializes in land, hotel, multifamily, and other commercial real estate investment sales and residential developments.

In early 2017 Frances started focusing a large portion of her efforts in sustainable and regenerative real estate development due to what she believes to be a personal purpose. She continues to grow this aspect of her business to protect the environment and regenerate our planet through catalyzing regenerative practices in the built environment. Frances completed Regenesis Institute for Regenerative Practice’s Regenerative Practitioner program in 2021 and is enrolled in their ongoing continuing education courses diving deeper into the different aspects of regenerative development. As of January 2023, she is also enrolled in Regenerators.co one-year Regenerative Leadership Journey. Her intention is to specialize in this field.

Currently, with the support of her network and strategic alliances, she collaborates with developers, municipalities, and project and land owners that are committed to sustainable and regenerative practices, seek access to green finance for their projects aligning with ESG criteria, or are looking to obtain green building certifications such as those of the International Living Future Institute, LEED, EDGE, WELL, RESET and others.
